Running the troubleshooter will help in identifying and displaying the cause and sometimes will fix the issue.
Press Windows logo key on the keyboard, type Troubleshooting and select the top most search result. Click on View all from left side panel of the screen. Select Printer , c lick on Advanced option and check Apply repairs automatically option. After the troubleshooting process is complete, check if there are any components missing or corrupted which needs to be fixed and do the necessary changes. I had to plug in with usb to get it to recognize the printer. I downloaded the drivers and the software from canon. Windows 10 scan option will not find scanner, but the canon mp navigator will. Try downloading the software not just the drivers, and plug in to usb the first time and should work. I hate windows 10 do something.
